FAQ’s

1. What is permanent jewelry?

Permanent jewelry is a piece of jewelry that is custom fitted to you - as a ring, bracelet, anklet, or necklace. A chain is welded together to create a continuous piece that is intended to be worn long term.

2. What materials are used?

We offer both 14K gold filled and sterling silver options. My goal is to prioritize pieces that are affordable, but not at the expense of durability and quality.

3. What happens if I have to remove my jewelry?

If you have to remove your jewelry, you can do that very easily with a pair of basic scissors. It is recommended to make your cut on the jump ring and not the chain. This will allow for an easier and more seamless re-weld when you’re ready. We are happy to re-weld for you at no charge.

4. How do I care for my jewelry?

You can keep your permanent piece in its best condition by cleaning regularly with a soft toothbrush and mild dish soap. Gently brush, focusing on areas that may collect dirt or lint, and then pat dry with a soft cloth. For sterling silver, you may also use a jewelry polishing cloth for any areas of tarnish.

5. What if my permanent jewelry breaks?

While the materials used in our permanent jewelry pieces are meant to endure every day wear, the chain is not unbreakable. The size and thickness of the link used to weld your chain together is meant to be broken in certain situations as a safety measure for you. If your piece does break, you can contact us and we can arrange for a time to re-weld the piece for you. Please note: we cannot replace lost jewelry or charms/connectors.

6. Is there anyone who shouldn’t get permanent jewelry?

  • Those with a pacemaker (due to the welding process)
  • Those with metal allergies
  • Those who may not be able to follow safety guidelines

7. Why would I get permanent jewelry?

There are so many reasons! ☺️

  • friendship bracelets (skip the tattoo, get a bracelet!)
  • romantic gestures (promise ring/wedding band vibes)
  • celebrate milestones (graduation, bridal shower, bachelorette, new parents/grandparents/aunt, honoring a passed loved one or pet, birthdays).
  • charting your journey (birthstone/initials of your children earthside or with a rainbow for those in heaven, a ribbon to symbolize your journey with/through a cancer diagnosis).
  • JUST BECAUSE YOU LOVE JEWELRY!

The vision for my brand goes much beyond fashion and trends; I want it to become a meaningful representation of who you are. Each piece should speak to your unique journey. When someone sees your jewelry, I want it to have the ability to create an unspoken connection, bridging experiences and emotions that might otherwise remain hidden. It’s about fostering a sense of belonging, comfort in shared experiences - ultimately reminding us that we are never alone. 🫶🏼

8. How does it work? Will it hurt?

  1. You will browse our collection of chains, offering both 14K gold filled and sterling silver options. We also have connectors available to personalize your chain. They include options such as: birthstones, initials, dog paw prints, crosses, or rainbows.

  2. Your desired location for jewelry placement will be measured and the chain will be laid to ensure proper sizing.

  3. A final link will be added to the piece to connect both ends of the chain and welding will complete the process by closing that link to ensure your piece is complete.

The welding process is quick and painless. A piece of leather will be placed between the welding tools and your skin to ensure safety. As the welding takes place, you will hear a zap and see a momentary flash of light as the process completes. Safety glasses will be provided to protect your eyes. You will not feel anything.
